For the Missouri Department of Transportation, District 8, TSE completed the design improvements for the interchange of Highway 65 and Route 14 in Ozark, MO. This rapidly developing commerical/suburban corridor was generating traffic volumes exceeding the capacity of the existing two-lane section. Design improvements included traffic modeling using CORSIM software, roadway widening using urban design criteria (access management, four lane C & G sections, signalized intersections), and re-designed on and off ramps from Highway 65.

The City of Nevada, MO selected TSE to design a lighting system for the interchange at Route K and Highway 71. Using “Visual - Professional Edition” lighting software, we provided a lighting solution that met the City’s budget and need. The new lighting will provide safer and more visible traffic flow to and from the City’s amenities for travelers. Surface Transportation Program (STP) funding was used for this project in cooperation with MoDOT, District 7.
