ALTA / ACSM Surveys

The American Land Title Association and American Congress on Surveying and Mapping have established a comprehensive list of minimum standards for this type of certified survey, along with many options that the purchaser may choose to meet their requirements. Included are all aspects of a boundary survey, location of improvements and identification of any additional evidence of possession or use, which could be adverse to the interests of the purchaser or developer. Commercial properties are most often the subject of this type of survey.
