Steve Lett  and Charlie Miller started Tri-State Engineering in 1979, offering civil engineering and land surveying services. The current staff numbers more than forty persons, including seven professional engineers and three land surveyors. Resumes of the management staff illustrate the professional experience and project capabilities of Tri-State Engineering, Inc.  

Steven K. Lett, P.E., P.L.S., is one of the founders and currently President of Tri-State Engineering, Inc. Under his leadership, the company has grown from three employees in 1979 to 48 employees. His experience encompasses a wide range of structural, civil, environmental and construction engineering. As President, Steve oversees all aspects of TSE; he provides leadership and guidance for the executive management team in their respective roles and projects.

Presently, Steve provides his multi-disciplined engineering experience for clients on the resolution of disputes through the mediation and arbitration process. He also participates as an expert witness.

 

 

 

 

 

Clayton Crist y, P.E.,  joined Tri-State Engineering, Inc. in 1995. He was named CFO in 2004. Clayton has experience in transportation engineering, municipal infrastructure design, residential subdivisions, and commercial development, water distribution, and wastewater management. Clayton represents TSE as the County Engineer and Flood Plain Administer for Jasper County Missouri.

  
 

Steven G. Lewis, P.L.S., is the COO of Surveying for Tri-State Engineering, Inc. Steve has been with TSE since 1989. He has extensive knowledge in land, engineering, and construction surveying. Steve also has experience in property boundary designs for new subdivision plats. His responsibilities include managing a staff of up to fifteen field crewmembers and various sub contracted survey crews.

 

  Thomas Logan Moore, P.E., came to TSE in 1994 as a project engineer. He was promoted to Vice President-Engineering in August 2002.  Tom's specialization is in wastewater collection/treatment, water supply, storage, and distribution, and storm water management. Tom's experience includes design of many water and wastewater projects for numerous municipal clients.
