This Block Grant funded project replaced an aging and undersized
treatment plant with an oxidation ditch wastewater treatment
plant. Designed to treat more than 124,000 gpd, the plant
should handle the wastewater for Pinevilles projected needs
for the next twenty years. Design includes an oxidation ditch,
two clarifiers, ultraviolet disinfection, a bar screen, grit
chamber and aerobic sludge digestion. TSE also completed
periodic construction observation on this project, which was
completed on time and on budget in February 2000.
